Fish fingers are also known as fish sticks in the United States and Canada.
They are a processed food which is made using a whitefish, such as;
- cod
- haddock, or
- pollock that has been battered or breaded.
They are commonly purchased from the frozen food section of supermarkets and can be cooked in a number of ways.
So can hamsters eat fish fingers?
Unfortunately they can’t eat processed foods, including fish fingers.
If they nibble it they should be fine but it is not a food that should be directly fed to hamsters raw, cooked, or frozen.
However, there are definitely more nutritionally beneficial foods for them to eat.
